2nd Interactive meeting with international delegates
for global propagation of Ayurveda
In view of the interest shown by the International Ayurveda community for promotion and propagation of Ayurveda subsequent to the 1st Interactive Meeting with International delegates for global propagation of Ayurveda organized by the Department of AYUSH in March 2009, the 2nd Interactive Meeting is scheduled to be organized by the Department on 3rd & 4th May, 2010 in New Delhi.

International Ayurveda Workshop on the Traditional Herbal Medicines EU-Directive
Join the workshop, add your valuable point of views, help strenghtening the status of ayurvedic products on the EU-market
In the organization of the Embassy of India of Budapest, the European Ayurveda Association (EUAA) and AYUSH, an International Ayurveda Workshop will be held in Budapest on the 19th-20th of March 2010.
The main topic of the workshop will be the Traditional Herbal Medicine EU-Directive, which - if comes into force in March 2011 without any alteration to the same - will place a great impediment in the way of ayurvedic (and all herbal) medicines to be marketed in the European Union, and deprive people of their right to obtain easily effective and safe herbal medicines over the counter, and make exporters very difficult to licence products new to the EU market.
The aim of the workshop is to bring EU and Indian experts of the topic together to create an action plan in order to achieve alterations to the same regulation.
The organizers are expecting the attendance of ayurveda organizations from 27 EU-countries (and from all ACCE member countries, see: http://www.ayurveda.hu/eu.html
We would like to hereby kindly invite all European Ayurveda institutes, companies and experts to join this important meeting, or otherwise the follow-up meeting, which is to be held in New Delhi at the beginning of May 2010.
Your attendance and valuable ideas would be of great importance to bring all forces together ensure the easy access of ayurvedic products the the EU after March 2011 as well.
