The Garuda Trade Ltd. introduces itself

Since its creation in 1991, Garuda Trade Ltd. has been making permanent efforts to achieve its main goal: the introduction of the methods and practices of the ancient Indian medical science of Ayurveda into Hungary, and the penetration into the Hungarian market with natural health- and beauty-care products based on ayurvedic texts.

In complience with its aims, our company has been licencing and importing from India since the early 1990's ayurvedic food-supplements, paramedicines, beauty-care compositions and veterinary products, which are of 100% natural origin and are prepared with the application of XXI. century's technologies. The products imported and distributed by Garuda Trade Ltd. are all prepared by well-known, reputed Indian companies, all cherishing the teachings of Ayurveda.

The range of products imported and distributed is already wide (and is continuously widened); and embraces a long list of immune-strenghtening, metabollism-controlling, beauty-care and wellness-products. Since 1998 the product range also involves a list of ayurvedic veterinary products (fodder-supplements, veterinary paramedicines and cosmetics), which can be used in domestic animal breeding, as well as in pet-care.

The number of our re-selling partners is permanently increasing, so our customers may find our products on the shelves of more and more shops and stores selling natural human or veterinary health-care products all over the country. Since 2008 our company also operates a webshop for inland customers at www.ayurvedaweb.net.

Our Indian partners are Dabur India Ltd., Dabur Research Foundation, Emami Ltd, Muniyal Herbals and Ayurvedic Remedies Ltd, The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Ltd, Baidyanath Ltd and from the veterinary side, Ayurvet Ltd., which companies had a vital role in the introduction and dissemination of the methods, practices and medical compositions of the science of Ayurveda into Hungary.

Since the end of 2009 - as part of our efforts to give a reply to newly arising market demands - besides introducing new ayurvedic products to Hungary, our company has also put on market GEOMAR anti-cellulite cosmetics range, applying the natural beneficial effects of Dead-Sea minerals and herbs, produced by Italian company Mirato. This new range will naturally serve the beauty-care of Hungarian ladies from now on, as they do in many other European countries.

We are re-exporting our products to some of the neighbouring countries (Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia) and we are continuously working on the opening of new horizons in Austria, Bulgaria, the Czeck Republic, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine as well.

The increasing interest and demand towards ayurvedic services and products, and the positive feedback of our customers which we could experience during the past almost 20 years of our work means a true feedback and affirmation for us that we have chosen the right way. Ayurveda is a times-tested healing system, the science of life, which can effectively help the prevention of diseases or the restoration of health in case of minor or major diseases as well.

As a straight consequance of our commitment, our company is the main supporter of the work of the Hungarian Ayurveda Medical Foundation since its creation in 1996.
